Most likely not…it kind of blows, I know, but what can you do?

In my opinion, I think that they butchered the anime. The animation was lackluster, they left out some vital character traits (Shigure, for example), and they even showed Akito’s bare chest.

To be honest I would love it if they completely re-did the anime like they’ve done with other series. Fruits Basket is the most popular shoujo manga in the west, and the second most popular in Japan. It has an unbelievable fanbase and it would do incredibly well as a long anime. So I guess that yes, there is a tiny possibility that they will do it over, but it is a very tiny possibility. It’s been solong, after all…
